Rich Homie Quan had a rough night last night (July 11). He performed The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Get Money" alongside Lil Kim at the 2016 VH1 Hip-Hop Honors, but seemed to forget the lyrics soon after starting Biggie's verse.

Twitter capitalized on the unfortunate mix-up by playing #RichHomieKaroake, where users intentionally fucked up lyrics to hilarious results. Peep some of the best up top plus a couple hilarious GIFs below.

Many are wondering how exactly Quan got there in the first place. The Hip-Hop Honors were held in New York; why would an Atlanta rapper be tapped to perform a Brooklyn MC's verse? He doesn't seem to have any single or album to promote, and he hasn't even released a new project in 2016 after dropping three tapes last year. So what gives? Did someone pull out unexpectedly at the last minute, or was Quan the go-to all along?

Twitter was relentless in their criticism, saying Quan had better take the underground railroad to escape form New York after the disappointing performance. It might have been cool to hear a southern rapper pay his respects to Biggie Smalls, but the results weren't as expected.

Quan's official debut album Rich As In Spirit is set to drop this year, though it's nowhere in sight right now. Last year he had the biggest solo smash hit of his career with "Flex" and scored more popularity as a feature on Lil Dicky's "$ave Dat Money," but a follow-up single is yet to materialize. Hopefully he's got some heat in the chamber.
