Over the past few months, there's undoubtedly been an increase when it comes to rappers speaking on race relations. The deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile hit a nerve with the hip-hop community inspiring many to be vocal and speak up against racial injustices. Rappers like Snoop Doog, The Game and T.I. have even began organizing marches and urging fans to help in bringing forth change.

However, prior to the recent influx, a few rappers were vocal about racism they encountered randomly while out and about. Snoop Dogg dubbed Arnold Schwarzenegger a racist in May of 2016 for some questionable choices he made during his last day in office. A few months earlier, Iggy Azalea voiced her displeasure with the use of the word "Becky" on Beyonce's Lemonade. Who can forget Lil Wayne's back-and-forth with the Oklahoma City Thunder over them allegedly not letting him in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals because he's Black back in 2012. Chief Keef, Pusha T and Chance the Rapper have also been in headlines for their alleged encounters with racism.
