Lil Wayne is putting on for his city once again. The "Go DJ" rapper announced the return of his Lil Weezyana Fest today (July 12) in a post on Instagram. The 2016 version will feature 2 Chainz and be held on Aug. 27 at Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square in Wayne's hometown of New Orleans.

"If you heard about last year you kno whats goin 2 happen this year!" Lil Wayne wrote. "Lil Weezyana Fest 2!! Bringin my bro @hairweavekiller with me ColleGrove Edition Let's Go!"

Pre-sale tickets for Lil Weezayana Fest will go up tomorrow (July 13) on Ticketmaster. Sales for the general public begin this Friday (July 15). And just like last year's event, the 2016 Lil Weezyana Fest will be sponsored by attorney Morris Bart.

Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz are the only announced artists for the event at this point. The two rappers collaborated earlier this year on the ColleGrove album. But as fans who attended or watched last year's Lil Weezyana Fest on Tidal know, Wayne likely has some big surprises in the works.

The 2015 edition of Lil Weezyana Fest featured the long awaited reunion of the Hot Boyz (sans the incarcerated B.G.) and Mannie Fresh. The event also featured performances by Drake, Curren$y, August Alsina and No Limit Records founder Master P. The New Orleans vibe was strong throughout the show too as local favorites like DJ Jubilee, Ms. Tee, Big Freedia and 5th Ward Webbie rocked the stage for the sold-out crowd.
