Kevin Durant is really about that West Coast lifestyle. Today (July 21), KD unveils a new tattoo of California legend Tupac Shakur on his left leg. Right under the 'Pac tribute is a new Wu-Tang Clan tat, as well.

The Slim Reaper recently rocked the sports world by signing with the Golden State Warriors in NBA free agency. Now, Durant is showing even more love to the left coast by adding ink of Shakur, who famously resided in Los Angeles for a good chunk of his career.

In case you missed it, check out this rare interview of KD with Genius, in which the seven-foot sharpshooter reacts to several hip-hop lyrics that shout him out. The Maryland-born baller also names his favorite MC in the game.

He says, "[Drake] is my favorite rapper. When you get a shout out in a song, you look around and see if anyone else heard it. You feel, ‘somebody recognized me.'”

KD continues, “Me and a lot of other people were wondering if Drake was coming back with some new music. When I have a game, he texts me or Snapchats me and we talk about stuff. I’m sure when he got in the booth, he was feeling it a little bit and put it in there. It went together nice. I guess he just wanted me to hear it as I was going through the album. Once I heard it, I was like, ‘That was dope.'”
