More than 20 years into his illustrious rap career, and Joey Crack has found a new hustle: selling shoes. In September, Fat Joe will be opening a New York City shoe store with a 19-year-old named Scotty Spina.

In an interview with the folks at Sole Collector, the Terror Squad general explained what he believes will make the new store unique. "It’s gonna be a store within a store," Fat Joe explained to Sole Collector. "It’s gonna be like a museum that no one’s ever done before; this is one of one."

Spina, who is Joey Crack's partner in this venture, says the rap superstar is more than a business partner. "Fat Joe is my big brother," Spina, a shoe seller who goes by the nickname Scotty Kickz, told Sole Collector. Spina says he met Joe through a mutual friend. "He supports everything I do and even gave me a Terror Squad chain."

In his career as a shoe reseller, Spina has sold kicks to DJ Khaled, Jay-Z, Rick Ross, French Montana, Lil Durk, Future, Fetty Wap and of course, Joey Crack himself. In his interview with Sole Collector, Spina claimed to have already made six figures from his business. He taken joy in proving his doubters wrong.

"Teachers were laughing at me saying, ‘You’re not doing anything, you’re just hanging out with the wrong people.'" Spina said. "My goal was to prove people wrong and I let that motivate me."
