Blu & Nottz team up again for the new EP Titans in the Flesh, available today (July 15) via SoundCloud. The seven-track project serves as the follow up to the pair's 2013 tape Gods In The Spirit.

With features from the likes of Torae, Bishop Lamont, Mickey Factz and Skyzoo and piano-laden, larger-than-life beats, the EP is a quick listen but has huge replay value. As always Blu, a former XXL Freshman, shows off his story telling ability with meticulous, relatable lines. A verse snippet off "Atlantis" is a perfect example.

"Folks that don’t lie/Dreams in bowties/A magazine wrote it was dope, but young lady did a coke line/Clothes on a clothesline, nobody’s at home/Just a kid at the liquor store, $1.25/Then he pries at the bottom of his mind, clothes your eyes/Make a wish, six minutes to show time," he raps.

The rapper-producer duo have already proven their chemistry on wax with 2013's Gods In The Spirit, one of the most acclaimed projects of the year. The pair have been teasing this followup since mid June. When XXL caught up with the pair before the official release, they spared no details when telling fans what to expect. In fact, their promo sounded like something out of a video game or medieval quest movie.

“'Titans in the Flesh' is like 'Gods in the Spirit' on steroids. Me and Nottz are at it again with an adventure that jumps right out of your headphones, tackling reality,” said Blu.

“'Gods in the Spirit' was the warning and now they’ve woken a sleeping giant,” expalined Nottz. “Feel the wrath of the 'Titans in the Flesh.' Lyrics and beats leveled up to 1000!"
