It's been a month since the 2016 XXL Freshman class has been revealed and now the artists gracing the annual cover are getting set to invade the West Coast for their Los Angeles show on July 25.

This year's class includes Oxnard, Calif.'s Anderson .Paak; Atlanta's 21 Savage; Pompano Beach, Fla.'s Kodak Black; Philadelphia's Lil Uzi Vert; Cheltenham Township, Penn.'s Lil Dicky; Harlem's Dave East; Carol City, Fla.'s Denzel Curry; Brooklyn's Desiigner; Chicago's G Herbo and our 10th Spot winner, ATL's Lil Yachty.

When the newly minted freshmen took over Playstation Theater in New York City on June 28, fans were officially introduced to the "new wave" of hip-hop. Denzel Curry brought his signature brand of bravado to the stage and even gave a nod to his fellow Floridian Kodak Black by playing “Skrilla” and prompted the crowd to shout “Free Kodak.” Harlem's own Dave East performed with a Henny bottle in hand as he let off bold rhymes while Chicago's G Herbo opted for blunt smoking while the crowd sang his "Kill Shit" lyrics back to him. While Lil Dicky and Desiigner both got the place hype with "Lemme Freak," "Save Dat Money" and of course "Panda," respectively, it was the 10th spot winner, ATL's Lil Yachty, who really brought the house down with "1Night" and "Minnesota." The self-proclaimed "King of the Teens" later incited a harmless riot outside the theater thanks to his rabid fan base.

If you missed out on the NYC action because you live on the West Coast, make sure you're there for the Los Angeles show. You never know when you'll see this lineup of talent all on one stage again. It all goes down Mon., July 25 at L.A.'s Fonda Theater at 6126 Hollywood Blvd. Doors to the all-ages show open at 7 p.m. PST. Get your tickets now at AXS here.

Once again, congrats to our 2016 XXL Freshman class featuring Desiigner, Dave East, Denzel Curry, G Herbo, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Dicky, Lil Yachty, Anderson .Paak, 21 Savage and Kodak Black.
