Wiz Khalifa is getting sued by Rostrum Records. The Pittsburgh rapper recently filed a lawsuit against his former manager, Benjy Grinberg, and label, Rostrum Records, in an attempt to get out of his 360 deal. Now, the label is hitting back as they look to get $2 million from Wiz.

TMZ reports that Rostrum Records is suing for unpaid fees from their existing deal. Rostrum says they are owed a 15% cut of Wiz Khalifa's touring and music royalties from a deal that was signed back in 2005. The company argues that it's also owed 20% of Wiz's merchandise sales. Rostrum claims that $2 million will settle the debt as Wiz has been bringing in large amounts of money off touring, music sales and merch.

Wiz Khalifa dropped Benjy Grinberg, the owner and founder of Rostrum Records, as his manager in 2014. The rapper's own lawsuit asserts that Grinberg persuaded Wiz to sign a 360 deal despite this option not being in Wiz's greatest self interest.

"An artist’s most trusted advisor is his or her personal manager," Alex Weingarten, Wiz Khalifa’s attorney, said. "Generally, nothing good comes out when the manager decides to go into business against his artist. Unfortunately, that is the case here."

Wiz Khalifa is seeking $1 million in his lawsuit against Benjy Grinberg and Rostrum Records. The "Black and Yellow" artist's main complaint is that Grinberg failed to disclose alternative agreements that were available. Instead, Wiz became tied to a deal that "reached for more than a decade into virtually every aspect" of his career.
