On what would have been Tupac Shakur's 45th birthday, the highly anticipated biopic All Eyez on Me documenting his life and death releases its first official teaser trailer and it's enough to give ardent and apathetic listeners alike chills on this Thursday morning.

The minute-long clip opens with a crowd chanting Pac's name with a few voice over quotes from Danai Gurira of The Walking Dead, who plays his mother, Afeni. "Son, this ain't just about you. Like all black men, you have a bullseye on your back," she says. And later, "They are going to give you the tools that you need to destroy yourself," as an overhead shot of a money-filled briefcase is shown, likely being held by Suge Knight.

Just yesterday, The Game said that All Eyez on Me will make Notorious, the 2009 biopic about The Notorious B.IG., "look like a cartoon," and while he may have seen more than the minute clip that is now out in the world, the notion of the film depicting the realness and rawness of Pac's life and message is certainly captured.

All Eyez on Me is scheduled for a November 11 release date, though such things are always subject to change. The Tupac documentary Resurrection was released on November 14, 2003 under the supervision of Afeni who is listed as an Executive Producer for the biopic, though she sadly passed just last month.
