T.I.'s daughter was arrested and charged for attempting to carry a gun through security at Atlanta's Hartfield-Jackson International Airport on Thursday night (June 16).

According to CBS News Atlanta, Zonnique Pullins, 20, was charged around 10 p.m. yesterday evening. She spent about four hours in Clayton County Jail before being released at 2:09 a.m. Pullins is T.I. and Tiny's oldest daughter. Information on this matter remains scarce, but keep it locked to XXL as more news about the incident begins to trickle out.

It hasn't exactly been a pleasant past few weeks for T.I.

In May, a man was shot and killed at the Atlanta rapper's Irving Plaza concert. T.I.P. had nothing to do with the incident, and video even emerged of T.I. helping one of the shooting victims. However, he still suffered the consequences: first of all, he is now forever linked to the tragic incident, despite having no direct involvement.

On a less important but still-costly note for T.I., the ATL artist lost a $55,000 payday because of a cancelled show in Florida. Now, he must deal with another unfortunate turn of events, which resulted in a gun charge for his daughter Zonnique.

In music-related news, T.I. recently dropped the Dr. Dre-produced "Dope" featuring Marsha Ambrosius. The rap game vet shows he's still got it, rapping, "Truth is for real, feel like Dre and Pharrell/Mixed with Eric B and Rakim shorty, hell on a scale/And still the game enticing me, like every time I see her/They like to pop a seal, high enough to see Aaliyah."
