Original Story:

ScHoolboy Q is a damn fool. Today he revealed the name of his album (Blank Face) and the cover, and would you look at that - it's a fucking blank Crying Jordan face. This man is a genius.

No word yet on the inspiration for the album name or cover, but it's pretty clever.

The LP is set to drop July 8th following singles like "Groovy Tony" and "That Part." The latter features Kanye West, who also appeared in the trippy video.

Blank Face follows Oxymoron, Schoolboy's proper debut album from 2014. Besides Kendrick, ScHoolboy is the only other Top Dawg rapper signed directly to Interscope.

Fans are surely happy that Q's album is on the way, but just how much will their joy translate to tangible support? Earlier this year, TDE CEO Anthony "Top Dog" Tiffith revealed that Schoolboy's "THat Part" didn't sell as well first week as he might have hoped. "Who bought Q single?… we have over 11m followers and his single sold 26k the 1st week. y’all beg 4 it..explain that support 2 me…lmao," he wrote. “Y’all have 2 really support these records y’all keep asking for," he added.

It's been hard for TDE members to put up numbers next to Kendrick, who's become vaulted as arguably the best rapper of the past couple years. Other crew members have been able to find their niche, but measuring up to the king can be a daunting task.
