Listen to Desiigner’s ‘New English’ Mixtape

Desiigner's debut mixtape New English is here exclusively via TIDAL, and you can listen to the project on the streaming site. It's 14 songs, with two of them being "Panda" and "Zombie Walk" while the rest is previously unreleased material.

A while ago, Desiigner came through to XXL HQ and played us "Overnight," which appears at the tail end of the tape. It's produced by Mike Dean and one of the standout tracks that he played that day.

But besides studio records, the Brooklyn MC's also been confounding fans and critics alike with his new Freshman freestyle where he basically hums a hook. Producers are already remixing it, and while no one's really sure what he's saying, everyone know it's catchy as hell. Watch it below.

Desiigner was caught turning up at Kanye's "Famous" video premiere in L.A. over the weekend, but don't expect Yeezy to show up on the tape. The only feature is G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T.

The tape's got the same energy Desiigner brings in person, with strangely serene interludes that break up his hard-hitting sound nicely.
