Word broke yesterday (June 13) that a private jet taking Lil Wayne from Milwaukee to California had to make an emergency stop in Omaha after the rapper suffered a seizure mid-flight. While Mack Maine had tweeted later in the evening that Wayne was doing alright, Mashable has obtained official comment from a Wayne representative who says that the rapper is now in stable condition.

"As Wayne's reps, we can confirm that he did experience a minor seizure earlier this afternoon," his rep wrote, though no confirmation as to whether Wayne experienced multiple seizures was offered. "Under the guidance of his own doctors, he is now in stable condition and good spirits. He thanks his fans for their everlasting support, prayers and well wishes."

The incident represents a return to the health scares that Wayne experienced starting in October of 2012, when he suffered repeated seizures on a private jet during a flight bound for Los Angeles. The aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing not once but twice in Texas and Louisiana. In March of 2013, Wayne suffered another seizure while on the set of a music video. That time, Wayne was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and it was confirmed by Wayne’s publicist that the rapper had experienced a seizure.

Best wishes go out to Wayne on his road to recovery from this latest incident.
