The man on the moon is hard at work. According to a Facebook post from Kid Cudi's official account on Wednesday afternoon, the Cleveland artist is prepping the release of two new albums in 2016.

He writes, "So my plan is to release 2 albums this year. One for the summer and another for the fall. I finished this new one already. Fine tuning now."

Details are scarce at this point, but we do know a few key facts. Based on Cudi's Twitter account, one of the albums will be titled Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin. The "Day 'N Nite" rapper then said the album will contain only positive, "light" tracks, and that Mike Dean will be involved in production. But what about the second release, set to drop this fall – could it turn out to be the highly anticipated Man on the Moon 3 album?

In an interview with Billboard, Travis Barker said that Cudi and Andre 3000 have recently hit the studio together. It'll be interesting to see when and if those collaborations end up being released. Cudder's last body of work, Speedin Bullet to Heaven, was a divisive project because of its off-the-beaten-path sound.

In case you missed them, check out Mr. Solo Dolo's recent tracks "All In," produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, and "The Frequency," produced by Mike Dean and Plain Pat. Cudi recently stated that he is mentally going through a rough stage in his life, even sharing that he has suicidal thoughts. All the best wishes to Kid Cudi on his road to recovery.
