Desiigner is finally giving his fans some new music. The Brooklyn rapper held a listening party, sponsored by Tidal, for his upcoming mixtape, New English, in the SoHo area of New York City Wednesday night (June 22).

Located inside a four-story high-end condo (with a pool on the second floor that no one could get in), the space held about 100 people ranging from hypebeasts and tastemakers to media outlets. The G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam signee played roughly eight to 10 songs from the project with his biggest feature being Pusha T. A snippet of that new song was shared via social media, which you can hear below.

Mike Dean, who was also in attendance at the listening, has stated that he's executive producing Desiigner’s upcoming album, which is tentatively titled Life of Desiigner. There's no release date for either the mixtape or the LP as of yet.

The importance of Desiigner's New English is immense. With "Panda" peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in March and still maintaining its position in the top five on the chart (though the song currently sits at No. 3), the mixtape will serve as not just a proper debut of what the 2016 XXL Freshman has to offer as an artist, but it will also try to dispel Desiigner's critics who believe he's copying Future's style and sound.

From the music that was played at his listening session, Desiigner has more hit records in the stash. Take a listen to more snippets of the rhymer's new music below.
