The Game is putting some literal meaning behind his name with an announcement late Monday night (May 23) that he is planning to release a new mobile video game titled Block Wars. Posting a trailer to Instagram, Game shared a first look at the game, which looks to be plenty violent, featuring explosions, drug house raids, shoot outs and the rapper himself as a pistol-wielding protagonist.

"Proud to announce I am the new @Atari ambassador & we have BIG THINGS coming for my fans & #Atari fans across the world in 2016 !!!! Our 1st project is our mobile game & app #BLOCKWARS," he wrote. "Couldn’t wait to give you guys this teaser !!!! Release date coming soon…"

The Compton rapper isn't the only one developing a video game, as Wale revealed in March that he's been building one of his own, saying, "I am just [so] dedicated to arranging, writing, recording, writing for other people and producing that my brain be so burnt out so I need something to play in the Uber.”

Remember too, that at his Madison Square Garden fashion show turned album release event, Kanye West shared a video game centered around his mother traveling through the gates of heaven. And earlier this year, a video game was born out of the Drake and Meek Mill beef though that was decidedly less official.

Peep a preview of Game's Block Wars up above with a drop date likely in the not too distant future.
