Soulja Boy is looking to start so fresh and so clean, clean. The 25-year-old artist took to Twitter on Monday morning to announce that he dropped every artist signed to his SODMG record label.

The move comes less than two weeks before the release of his upcoming album, Better Late Than Never, which is set to drop June 9. It's unclear what exactly prompted the decision to dismiss all current artists, but Soulja Boy's follow-up tweet might contain a clue. Ten minutes after the original statement, he tweeted he's thankful for the ability to "see the snakes and remove them from [his] life." Could those snakes be some of the artists he just cut from the team?

Soulja Boy founded Stacks On Deck Entertainment in 2004 when he was just 14 years old. No high-profile acts were on the latest SODMG roster. The biggest rappers to once be affiliated with the label include Lil B and Riff Raff.

In addition to the new album, Soulja Boy is said to be working on a joint mixtape with Lil Yachty and Lil B. In December, he dropped a loosie called "Trappin on My iPhone."

The man known for hits like "Kiss Me Thru the Phone" and "Crank Dat" was recently in the news for a $400 million endorsement deal, which, unsurprisingly, turned out to be greatly exaggerated.
