Popcaan Warns Mr. Vegas About Dissing Drake

Popcaan is coming to Drake's defense after the rap star was called out by Mr. Vegas for swagger jacking Caribbean artists.

As previously reported, Vegas took exception to Drizzy's new album Views because he feels the Toronto rapper is unjustly using reggae artists without giving them credit.

“Why did Drake link Beenie Man to on sing back that record if that’s the one he wanted? Or why let Beenie Man do something new?” asked Vegas in a Facebook post. “So then I’m listening to the record further and at the end of the record when the record done, you can hear the record fin, Beenie Man doing the outro. So I’m like, Drake is rampaning my artists! You using my artists as intro men!”

He continued, “I’m listening to the record like, Where’s Poppy? So me say fast forward and at the end of the record again is another sample and the sample is from Popcaan. An old Popcaan record!”

Now Popcaan, who has a close relationship with Drizzy and also appeared on the If You're Reading This It's Too Late track "Know Yourself," is taking up for Drake's use of reggae artists. In a recently posted video, Pop warns Vegas to chill with all the hate towards Aubrey. "Don't try and violate my brother, now," Pop says into the camera. "You don't know anything about Unruly or OVO."

He added, "This is the truth. Leaved the youth alone."

Drizzy got woes everywhere.
