Kevin Gates is really really that dude in 2016, with his album Islah still in heavy rotation months after its January release. The album's singles continue to ring off, and Gates took two of them to Conan stage Monday night (May 9) performing "2 Phones" and "Really Really."

Decked out in an all black suit with a black bow tie to match, Gates ran through the two Islah cuts all by his lonesome, thanking the crowd midway through his performance. While Islah may not have had any high charting singles, the album has been a huge W for Gates, as it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart selling 112,000 units its first week, and in March, Gates said that a representative at Apple told him that the album outsold Rihanna's ANTI on iTunes.

More recently, Gates appeared alongside Philly's AR-Ab on "How I Do It" and was joined by Young Thug on the remix to O.T. Genasis' "Cut It (Remix)." In mid-April, voicing some frustrations with his label Gates said that he's planning to drop his mixtape Murder for Hire some time soon, saying that Atlantic wouldn't allow him to release another album until February 2017. He likewise previewed some new music via Instagram, though Islah has plenty on it to keep the streets and listeners satisfied.

Peep the clip up above to see Gates perform "2 Phones" and "Really Really" and stay on the look out fore Murder for Hire 2, which could drop at any point this spring.
