Remember that run Curren$y had back in 2008 where he dropped seven mixtapes in a seven month period during a torrid tear of releases that included the projects Higher Than 30,000 Feet, Welcome to the Winner's Circle, Fin..., Fear and Loathing in New Orleans, Fast Times at Ridgement Fly and Super Tecmo Bowl? It looks like the Hot Spitta is trying to outpace his own personal record eight years later as the NOLA MC just announced he is dropping yet another mixtape in the near future.

The Jet Life CEO recently took to Instagram to reveal artwork and the title for the project which will be The Legend of Harvard Blue. The photo for the cover looks like it was taken in the '70s and shows a man with a cream-colored suit walking as bystanders look along.

Spitta didn't give anymore details on the release in the form of a tracklist or release date, only offering, "#legendofharvardblue make room."

Harved Blue more than likely refers to the antagonist character from the blaxploitation film Truck Turner, starring Isaac Hayes. In the film, Blue, played by Yaphet Kotto is a pimp hell bent on violent revenge to avenge fellow pimp Gator's death and retain his stable of whores. It doesn't turn out well for him in the end.

Curren$y has already dropped five mixtape projects in 2016 including two five days apart in the month of March (Weed & Instrumentals and Revolver with Sledgren).

We are still in May. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
