Yo Gotti filmed his latest video for "The Law" featuring E-40 in a Georgia courthouse, and now officials are claiming the Memphis rapper never got permission to record the treatment on government property.

According to a recent report by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, McDonough City Councilwoman Sandra Vincent admits she helped facilitate the recording of the video, but says was never made aware of the contents of the song or the treatment for the video. “I don’t use that language,” she said. “That language is not used in my house.”

The video features Lil Duval as a court reporter, and covers the fictional court proceeding of Gotti who is being sued by a woman who claims her weave was burned while she was partying with the Tennessee rap. The song is laced with profanity and the video also features scantily dressed women.

“Clearly, it does not represent the standards of what’s Henry County,” County Manager Lyndon Bonner said.

Court official are currently trying to put a policy in action that would require pre-approval of all video recordings on site. The video curretnly has over 2.7 million views on YouTube.

There have been tons of rap videos that have been shot in courtrooms over the years. But most people presumably go through the proper channels. Back in 2004, T.I. drew the ire of officials when he somehow shot a video in a Fulton County Jail. That incident, and others, ended up costing people at the facility their jobs including Sheriff Jackie Barrett, and a jail supervisor.
