With 17 years in the game, Tech N9ne is still going as hard as ever. With that being said, the MidWest indie giant just announced the release date for his 17th album (11th solo).

Recently taking to Instagram, N9ne posted a picture of himself adorned in intimidating white make up along with the caption, "I don't fit the part for mainstream cause I'm rougher only time they wanna look like me is Halloween mutha fucka! ( I GET IT NOW) THE STORM, 9/9/16.

This will be the Strange Music head honcho's first release of 2016. Last year, he put out two projects - the solo album Special Effects and Strangeulation Vol. II from his collabos series. Special Effects debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, selling 60,000 copies in the United States while Strangeulation came in at No. 25 with nearly 24,000 copies sold and marked Tech's second album in 2015 to sit atop Billboard's independent albums chart.

Aside from the music, Tech Neener has been working on helping out in the community. In late January, he donated hundreds of bras he collected from women while on tour to Hope House, a local shelter in Kansas City for abused women. “It’s beautiful that what started out as a fun party song with ‘Areola‘ at my shows and thousands of beautiful women throwing their bras on stage turned into us donating all of them to the Hope House for a bigger purpose,” he said. “No woman deserves to be abused, I’m glad we could help make a difference.”
