There's a certain criteria rappers must follow to be in the game. MCs must have skills on the mic, possess an unmatched style and incomparable presence. And one of the biggest of the list seems to be having money and lots of it.

With social media becoming bigger than ever, fans have more access to their favorite rapper's lifestyle on a daily basis. Fans get to take a peek into the lifestyle of the rich and famous and surprisingly, most rappers are more than willing to share every minute detail about themselves via Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. The cars, the clothes, the women and the houses are fair game. Rappers give unprecedented access to their life. At any given moment, there is access to the moves they make and the items they're spending big bucks on.

When it comes to spending, many of today's MCs aren't shy about flaunting what they've got or are about to cash out on. If you scroll through an Instagram page of more than a few artists, a majority own a photo featuring their latest expensive item. The price tags on some of the purchases are astonishing. From housing to food, you wouldn't imagine some of the money being shelled out for trivial things like soda just because they can the drop bread. From Travi$ Scott to 2 Chainz and more, check out some of the most expensive rap splurges within recent history here.
