As DJ Khaled will tell you, "fan love" can make or break a rapper's career. But what happens when the fans go too far in showing their appreciation for their favorite MCs? There have been instances of rappers like Action Bronson, Afro Man and many more actually fighting fans or kicking them offstage for getting too close. Other times, the fan love can come in a form of a groupie, which isn't so bad, right?

In the case of Chris Brown, experiences with fans have turned dangerous before. In May of 2015, the Virginia native was the victim of a home invasion at the hands of a fanatic. A woman broke into Brown's L.A. home, got completely undressed and waited for the singer to come home. Naturally, Brown was freaked out enough to press charges. So it seems that sometimes, an obsessed following comes with the territory of rising stardom. But on the other hand, some could argue this is a small price to pay for international fame and fortune.

XXL caught up with some of rap’s established names as well as the rising artists to discuss their craziest fan encounters thus far in their career. Some MCs have been approached by porn stars, naked fans or chased around in traffic while on tour in foreign cities. Rae Sremmurd, Dreamville's Omen and more share their sordid stories of fans gone wild. Check it out above.
