The reaction to news confirming that Puff Daddy was indeed putting together a Bad Boy reunion concert, was about as expected, with tickets for the May 20 Barclays Center show selling out in just seven minutes. Demand for the show, which will feature performances by Faith Evans, Ma$e, LOX, Total, 112, Mario Winans, French Montana and Lil Kim with special guests Jay Z and Mary J. Blige, was so high in fact that late Sunday evening (April 10), Puffy himself announced that a second date has been added. The second show will take place the following day, on May 21.

In the initial press release announcing the first show, which will be held on what would have been The Notorious B.I.G.'s 44th birthday, Puff said, "This isn’t just another concert—this is hip-hop history. The Bad Boy Family includes some of the biggest names in music and songs that helped define a whole generation of music. Also, we are celebrating one of the greatest of all time—Notorious B.I.G. This will be a night to remember. I can’t wait to see you all there.”

There is good reason to speculate that the reunion concert might include a hologram performance of Big, as his widow Faith Evans had said in a recent interview that she was in talks to produce the late rappers projected visage but was waiting on the right opportunity, saying she would potentially use it if “this Bad Boy tour ever really happens.”
