Fetty Wap and Masika Kalysha welcomed a healthy baby girl into the world last Tuesday, March 29 and Fetty is living up to the promise he made to Kalysha and the baby. Leading up to their daughter Khari's birth, the New Jersey rapper and the reality television star argued on Twitter over whether Fetty was the father of the child. Fortunately, the two settled their differences and Fetty apologized to Kalysha, bought Kalysha $20,000 worth of baby clothes, toys and furniture and said that he "wants what's best for the baby."

Yesterday (April 5), the "Trap Queen" rapper was on hand at the doctor's office for the newborn's first checkup. In a Snapchat video taken by Kalysha and captured by TMZ, Fetty is seen holding his daughter and burping her as he looks lovingly at his child. Good to see Fetty stepping up and taking on the responsibility of being a father.

Before going to check in on his baby, Fetty popped up a the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles and performed his hit "Again" for the crowd. Along with the performance, the rapper also took home Best New Artist at the ceremony and beat out acts like Hozier, Sam Hunt, Shawn Mendes and Tove Lo.

During his performance of "Again," the Jersey MC hit the stage on a four-wheel ATV. The “Trap Queen” rapper has been actively promoting peace in the streets with his “Bikes up, guns down” movement. Fetty, who grew up in a rough Paterson, N.J. neighborhood, is encouraging the youth to put down guns in favor of riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers. Despite having a scary motorcycle accident that left him with a broken leg, the 300 Entertainment signee is back behind the handlebars and using his hobby to try and keep the peace.
