Barbershop: The Next Cut hit theaters on April 15 and features a star-studded cast of actors and rappers alike, among them Eve, who was featured in the first two Barbershop films in 2002 and 2004, respectively. In accordance, Eve is making the media rounds, posting photos with Larry King and sharing links to interviews such as the one held on Access Hollywood yesterday (April 5).

Through it all, Eve's fanbase has been overwhelmingly supportive, causing the rapper to take to Twitter to share the love and reveal that she has more than acting on the mind. "I always try to give you all the same support and love that you've given me throughout the years! I Appreciate you! Thank you! New music soon," she wrote Tuesday evening (April 5).

In the aforementioned Access Hollywood interview (included below), Eve speaks on her co-star in the film, Nicki Minaj. "You’ll definitely see what you love of Nicki in her character," she says. And later, on whether the two knew each other beforehand, Eve says, "We were friendly. Honestly, it was nice to get to know her and see her outside of music. She’s definitely holding the flag [for female rappers]. I wish there were more."
