Drake has announced that Views From the 6 will drop April 29, just under three weeks away. The date was announced at the start of the newest OVO Sound Radio episode, which you can listen to right here.

Earlier this week, Six God released two new songs supposedly from the album - "Pop Style" with Jay Z and Kanye West that didn't quite impact like people thought it would, and "One Dance," a collaboration with Wizkid and Kyla that seemed to be more popular off bat.

Announcing the album on OVO Sound Radio tonight (April 9), Drake said, “It’s not a short ting. There’s a lot of music on there." Rumors of the album being a double or triple disc have abounded online, with people saying there'll be a Black and White disc of the album. That might be supported by the covers for both aforementioned singles - "Pop Style" being black (and a darker song) while "One Dance" is white (and a much lighter song).

The OVO Sound Radio episode started with a ton of island music, perhaps hinting at the kind of vibes Drizzy's been on lately. It's also curious that Beats 1 was the avenue through wich he made the announcement, all but confirming that the album will be an Apple Music exclusive for a certain period of time, if not indefinitely.

A loosie featuring Beyonce also floated around the internet last year called "Can I" that might or might not have been meant for the album.
