Dej Loaf is ready to release her follow-up to the 2015 EP ...And See That's The Thing. The Detroit rapper put out a new teaser video for a song called "Vibes" produced by Izze The Producer. Along with it, Dej Loaf announced that a new project titled All Jokes Aside would be released on April 6.

It's not exactly a surprise release like fans have seen from the likes of Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar, but Dej Loaf is obviously not putting any major promotional campaign behind this new project. It is not known at this time whether All Jokes Aside will be a free release or a retail project.

2015 proved to be a great year for Dej Loaf as she built off the success of her breakthrough single "Try Me." She earned a spot on the 2015 XXL Freshmen list and got to tour with Nicki Minaj as part of The Pinkprint Tour. And on top of all that, the Detroit native started up a relationship with fellow rapper Lil Durk.

Now, Dej Loaf will look to make 2016 a similar success with the release of All Jokes Aside. "Vibes" gives listeners a little preview of what to expect on the upcoming project. There's no dramatic shift in style as Dej is working with frequent collaborator Izze The Producer.

As for Dej Loaf's other musical exploits, the "Back Up" rapper is set to perform at this year's Essence Festival. Other notable names on the lineup include Kendrick Lamar, Mariah Carey, Jidenna, BJ The Chicago Kid, MC Lyte and The Internet.
