Fresh kicked off his 2016 with the release of The Night I Went To..., his first full-length drop since 2013. Recorded during his time on G-Eazy's 40-city "These Things Happen Tour," Rockie found inspiration in the cities and countries he traveled to, most notably South Africa, an experience he called, "life changing."

The Night I Went To… is really a collection of songs chronicling where I’ve been, without naming locations or dates,” Rockie Fresh said of his new project. “This is some of my most personal music to date, & honestly, some of my best work to date. I’ve gone through a lot in my personal life over the last two years & I have a lot to talk about, which has been therapeutic. I am extremely proud of this project.”
