DJ Khaled, a.k.a. the King of Snapchat, gave his viewers a treat last night (Mar. 2) while getting his haircut. The social media star announced that Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz's ColleGrove album would be dropping on iTunes this Friday, and then he started playing snippets from the album. You can hear those clips below.

Yesterday Kanye tweeted out the cover, and though the level of his involvement in the project is still unknown, the cover is apparently the work of DONDA, his creative company.

The snippets Khaled played are only Wayne's parts, so we don't hear any of Tity's contributions, but Weezy sounds like he's on his experimental tip.

The two MCs recently debuted "Rolls Royce Weather Everyday" on 'Fallon' after Tity Boi first teased the album last November. No official single has been released.

The idea for the album might have sprung from "Rich as Fuck," the single from Wayne's 2013 I Am Not A Human Being II album, seeing how successful that song was.

Khaled has a habit of announcing dope shit on Snapchat, and last night he also revealed that Rick Ross would be the next guest on Khaled's We The Best Beats 1 radio show. Khaled's previous guests include Future, Nas, and French Montana. Not all of them have debuted new music, but they have been excellent conversations.

Khaled also appeared on Nightline recently to outline his rise as the King of Snapchat. It is quite astounding to see how Khaled has turned his phone into a one-man self-service paparazzi device. Can't knock the hustle.
