Two mega acts like Kanye West and Justin Bieber are bound to fall in musical love at some point in their careers, and while the two collaborated on a "Runaway Love" remix from 2010's original G.O.O.D. Friday run, a true union has yet to materialize. Word late last month was that Bieber had originally laid some vocals down on "Ultralight Beam" but didn't make the final cut, and on Sunday (March 13), Kanye offered a bit of insight into his appreciation for the Canadian singer.

"What do you mean by @JustinBieber was my favorite song of 2015" Kanye wrote on Twitter, surprising most if not all of his followers with the nod to Bieber's single off his album Purpose. Bieber's Purpose Tour touched down in Portland Sunday night, and the singer has yet to respond to Yeezy's compliment.

The Bieber admission wasn't the only message Kanye disseminated via Twitter on Sunday, as the rapper diagnosed what he called his single greatest quality, that he cares deeply about people, quality and the truth. "Everyone can say anything they want about me but they could never say that I didn't care," he wrote. It has largely been Kanye's overwhelming sense of care for both the art and artists he appreciates that have gotten him into trouble in the past. He crashed the VMA stage in 2009 not with any malice towards Taylor Swift, but to champion Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video.
