If the thought "I wonder what the A$AP Mob would sound and look like rapping as animated bodega cats?" has ever crossed your mind, there's good news. As part of HBO's new series Animals, A$AP Ferg and A$AP Rocky are just that, spitting verses from inside their corner store domicile.

The animated show comes from the minds of Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano, and is executive produced by Mark and Jay Duplass. The series will depict a world in which New York City is inhabited by anthropomorphic animals including rats, pigeon, cats and dogs. Among those animals are Ferg and Rocky's bodega cats, who are not expected to be recurring characters.

The raps are a perfect encapsulation of both Ferg and Rocky's lyrical dexterity in the face of comedy, as each rapper spins cat rhymes like high quality yarn. To kick things off, Ferg raps, "Knick knack patty whack fuck your dog bone/I’m mobbing with my cats, we relax on the throne/Which is on top of a bunch of potatoes." Rocky meanwhile closes the bit out with the following: "Good riddance, it’s the bodega kittens/I’m the youngest of my siblings, beat my dick with my mittens/You say beef I say chitlins, I don’t really know the difference/Ask me what my favorite dish is, either pussy or the fishes."

Animals airs on HBO on Fridays at 11:30 p.m. EST with the above likely featured in tonight's episode. Catch the bodega Cat Mob up top.
