Run the Jewels first announced Run the Jewels 3 on Instagram in December and the two have been in the studio putting work in on the followup to 2014's Run The Jewels 2. Last night (Feb. 11), Killer Mike posted a clip of him and El-P in the studio together with the caption "#RTJ3." With weed smoke in the air, the duo happily bob along to the beat, clearly excited for what they have in store for their fans.

Run the Jewels' Beats 1 Radio show "WRTJ" airs today (Feb. 12) at 5 PM EST/2 PM PST. You can listen to the show via Apple's Beats 1.

While the clip is promising, El-P made it clear in December that Run The Jewels 3 will take some time. "Pro tip: we literally just got off tour," he tweeted. "We probably have to produce, write, record, mix and master RTJ3 before it comes out."

At some point last night, the car Killer Mike was riding in was pulled over by the Los Angeles Police Department. The cops were apparently on the hunt for men who had committed burglary in the area and the rapper's car was stopped for questioning. The MC posted the ordeal on Instagram and cracked a joke that he thought having a white driver would help him avoid situations like these.

"So here I am pulled over for burglary," he said. "I'm black, I'm in Los Angeles and I thought having a driver would help me...There's my driver...White as hell. That shit ain't help."
