Music legends like Paul McCartney rarely get denied access to clubs and parties. But that's exactly what happened last night (Feb. 15) when The Beatles member tried to attend Tyga's Grammys after-party.

TMZ captured video of Paul McCartney being denied entry to The Argyle in Los Angeles. McCartney was being accompanied by some big stars too as Beck, Woody Harrelson and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins were among his entourage.

Paul McCartney was unaffected by the rejection as he ended up attending Republic Records' Grammy after party. Other attendees at that event included Grammy winners Taylor Swift and The Weeknd.

Tyga was asked about Paul McCartney's denial at the door by the TMZ videographer, but the rapper gave no answers as he left the club. Tyga was in a playful mood as he acted like a paparazzo and threw questions back at the videographer while filming the man with his camera phone.

One person who was willing to talk about the situation was Bow Wow. The rapper/actor attended the party and expressed his disbelief at McCartney getting denied.

"The Paul McCartney came to Argyle?” Bow Wow said. “And they would not let Paul McCartney in? You have to be lying. There’s no way. There's no way that you're telling me that and it's true.”

Today (Feb. 16), Tyga did address Paul McCartney's rejection to the party on Twitter. Tyga said that he played no part in McCartney's denial at the door.

"Why would I deny Paul McCartney?" Tyga wrote. "Stop it. He's a legend. I don't control the door. I had no knowledge Sir Paul was there. I just performed and left."

Regardless of who's to blame, at least Paul McCartney has a funny story to tell now.
