Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose Take Selfie Together Following Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa Beef

At the center of the Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa beef is Kanye's history with Wiz's ex-wife and mother of his son Amber Rose. Kanye dated Rose, a former stripper, and has spoken disparagingly about his ex on numerous occasion. While sitting down with The Breakfast Club in February of 2015, he said that his current wife Kim Kardashian required him to take 30 showers for his involvement with Rose, and while going at Wiz's neck on Twitter last week he wrote, "you let a stripper trap you."

Underneath the Kanye and Wiz feud was a belief that Rose and Kardashian too had animosity toward one another. After the "30 showers" comment, Rose took to Twitter writing, "after all these years I never snitched on u and I don't plan on starting now. We once loved each other so I won't do u like that... I'll leave that up to the Kartrashians to humiliate u when they're done with u." But a hatchet seems to have been buried in the Rose-Kim K feud, as both women posted the same selfie with one another to Instagram early Tuesday morning (Feb. 2). "Tea anyone?" Kim captioned it with, while Amber wrote "Swingers" with a frog and cup of coffee emoji.

It's a surprising twist in the ongoing scrum, with Kim and Amber seeming to take the bystander approach, evoking the old Kermit drinking tea meme that represented sideline opinions. Amber had jumped into the fray previously, tweeting to Kanye, "are u mad I’m not around to play in ur asshole anymore?" But it seems the women who weren't involved in the rapper's beef to begin with are opting to remove themselves from it entirely. As Kanye wrote after finishing his Wiz-directed tirade, "it’s all about positive energy blessings blessings positive energy blessings."
