New management alert: Jay Z (and Roc Nation, by proxy) are now officially managing DJ Khaled. And no, he didn't tell the world on Snapchat.

Khaled announced the deal in a new video today that finds him getting the official welcome to Roc Nation with the infamous chaining ceremony, this time done in private. Hov tells Khaled this is his last Roc chain - another one, there's not. After that, it cuts to what sounds like some new raps from Hov, though where they'll end up only he knows.

This is a big deal for Khaled and a landmark achievement in his recent rise to social media stardom. Nightline interviewed him last week about becoming the king of the disappearing video service, while the Miami DJ has also gotten a big look from Apple in the form of his We The Best Radio show on Beats 1.

Over the weekend Khaled released his complete interview with Nas on We The Best Radio talking about Esco's experience recording with Biggie, the controversy surround "Hate Me Now," and whether Nas is working on any new music nowadays.

In the interview, the Queens OG also gives props to new MCs like Future, J. Cole, Drake and Meek Mill, as well as big-upping his own artists like Dave East and Fashawn on Nas' Mass Appeal imprint. And you know Khaled had to get into some mogul talk, as the two discussed Nas' venture capital explorations with his recently formed Queensbridge Venture Partners, LLC.
