Jacquees and Tory Lanez are two of the hottest singers in the hip-hop world right now, with the former signing to Cash Money and dropping the much-discussed Mood tape while the latter has seen his popularity soar in the wake of his breakout hit single "Say It." But that doesn't mean they have to get along.

Earlier tonight (Feb. 24), Jacquees tweeted, "Chris my idol/big bro he don't count never will but you other guys im at yo throat ," in reference to Chris Brown. That prompted a simple response from Tory Lanez - two crying face emojis.

Jacquees continued, "Everybody my dawg but I just wanna be the best, who don't wanna be the best? You signed up to be second? No." It didn't take long for the CM singer to respond to Tory directly either.

"Yo pen pretty dope bro but vocal wise Naaaaaa you R NOT fuckin wit the kid. you tried it bro, keep hustling," he wrote, followed by, "Yo watermelon head ass tried to act like you ain't know me at Revolt now you tweet watching! Just follow me bro ." He finished up by posting a grinning selfie to Instagram with the caption, "mood: you gone have to do more than just say it bro."

It's funny to see Jacquees and Tory Lanez get into it when just a few weeks ago everyone felt the need to choose sides between Tory or Bryson Tiller. Looks like the Trapsoul singer is staying above the fray.
