Bun B Calls Stacey Dash the Biggest Coon in the Room

Former hip-hop lust bucket-turned-daytime TV rabble-rouser Stacey Dash has drawn the ire of rap legend Bun B for comments she made suggesting that BET and Black History Month promote racial strife.

Dash, who is a contributor for Fox News, appeared on the network's show, Fox & Friends, Wednesday (Jun. 20) and dropped the controversial statements while speaking to host Steve Doocy.

“We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration," Dash said. "And if we don't want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like B.E.T. and the BET Awards and the Image Awards where you're only awarded if you're black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It's a double standard.” Her initial opinion was sure to get a reaction out people, but it was her next statement, that would prove to be the last straw. “There shouldn't be a Black History Month. You know? We're Americans. Period. That's it.”

The 49-year-old actress, who was previously beloved by the hip-hop community, has now juxtaposed herself with everything it stands for, causing the usually calm and collected Bun B to lose his cool, using Instagram to spill his thoughts on the matter.

"For everyone that didn't know that looks don't mean a goddamn thing if the inside of you is ugly as fuck here's your proof," the remaining half of UGK wrote in a caption for a photo of Stacey Dash. "Her black skin drives her crazy. And as hard as she tries to separate herself from the black community, she doesn't even realize her token role as a pawn in their game. You're black. Hating yourself and us won't make them love you. The best you'll ever here is "You're not like the rest of them" and if that works for you then cool. #TheBiggestCoonInTheRoom."

Stacey Dash used to be one of the most beloved hotties in the hip-hop community, but she's traded in her hood pass for a spot among the right-wing political pundits that frequently oppose many facets of the culture. Such a long way from Paper Soldiers and the pager store. Who knew.
