Will Smith Might Run for President

From Bel-Air to the White House? Will Smith's next move may be taking President Obama's spot in office.

The could be his biggest move yet as the superstar entertainer told CBS' Sunday Morning that he may start a career in politics. Smith, who is on a press run promoting his upcoming film Concussion, voiced his displeasure for Donald Trump's campaign -- though he didn't call out the candidate by name--and said that he may be forced to enter the world of politics and not in any small-time role.

"If people keep saying all the crazy kinds of stuff they've been saying on the news lately about walls and Muslims, they're going to force me into the political arena," Smith said. "I mean, I gotta be the President. Come on! What else would I run for?"

Perhaps Smith and Kanye West will run on the same bill in 2020.

Multiple hip hop artists and personalities have weighed in on Trump and all have called out the presidential candidate for his views and comments. Frank Ocean questioned his comments about the Paris shooting; Common protested that the media is giving him too much attention; Jeezy said he’s not a legitimate candidate and Kap G was disgusted by Trump’s stance on Mexican immigrants. Most recently, Russell Simmons, who goes way back with Trump, told the controversial figure to "cut the bullshit" and compared Trump's rhetoric to Hitler's.
