Rick Ross has been remarkably prolific for a rapper of his commercial stature, and it now seems as if he'll be carrying that work ethic over to other mediums. The Miami MC recently told Rolling Stone that he's been working on a feature film script called GABOS, an acronym standing for 'Game ain't based on sympathy,' and that he's now weighing options of how to bring it to the big (or small) screen. "I feel it's too big to be one film," he told the magazine. "I feel we should film it, break it down and make it a series, if we can." The latter option could be a natural fit, given that it's apparently influenced by the Miami Vice television series and the current Netflix hit Narcos. (Ross credits Miami Vice with teaching him how to make the story "colorful" and "explosive.") Few concrete plot details were offered, but the rapper confirmed that the story will follow tangents from his personal life and memories. He hinted at betrayal between principal characters, saying, The only thing better than a double-cross is a triple-cross." Watch the interview in full at Rolling Stone's website.

Ross is fresh off dropping Black Market, his third retail album in two years and second full-length effort since September. The LP features "Color Money," in which Ross seems to take shots at Drake, the superstar rapper from Canada who this summer sparred with Meek Mill, the former battle rapper from Philadelphia who's signed to Ross' Maybach Music Group imprint. Black Market opened at #6 on Billboard; Ross has four Gold plaques to his name, but has yet to be certified Platinum.
