Nicki Minaj reportedly posted bail for her older brother, Jelani Maraj. Jelani was charged for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl. According to Page Six, Minaj paid $100,000 to allow him to be freed from custody in Nassau County. The bond is backed by two homes that are owned by Minaj in Baldwin. One of the homes was used by Nicki's brother, while the other is used by her mother.

Minaj is responsible for paying fees associated with securing the the bond. That's 6 percent to 10 percent of the bond amount, which equals to $6,000 to $10,000. “She was prepared to do anything for her brother,” a source said of Minaj.

The YMCMB superstar was more than willing to pay that amount, even offering a letter of credit from a California bank account worth in excess of $2 million.
