Nicki Minaj took home a big honor at VH1's "Big in 2015" With Entertainment Weekly and gave an inspiring acceptance speech. Using her platform to empower, Minaj urged women to chase their dreams no matter what field they're in.

"I've never met a woman that I couldn't relate to, ever. I hope that if I could inspire a woman to do anything it's to never take no for an answer," she said. "No matter what field you're in, go after your biggest dream. Do not settle. Do not allow people to tell you that you can't do anything you put your mind to."

Nicki was presented with the honors by the pioneering Queen Latifah. Prior to handing Minaj the mic, Latifah made a brief speech of her own where she called The Pinkprint rapper an "inspiration to women everywhere." "You are a force within the hip-hop community," said Latifah. "You've become an inspiration to women everywhere. I love how you're never afraid to speak your mind. You're a strong woman, you refuse to be backed into a corner. You've established yourself as one of the greats and no one can take that away from you.

"Opinionated, outspoken, oh so damn original," she continued. "Nicki, you not only broke the mold, you crushed it. You set it on fire, you threw it right back in the face of any of those fools who doubted you."

The show aired last night (Dec. 7) and was hosted by T.I. Along with Minaj, entertainers Amy Schumer, Aziz Ansari and Taraji P. Henson were honored.
