On Saturday (Dec. 5), Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West welcomed to their family a brand-new baby boy. Entertainment outlets and tabloid reporters have waited with bated breath for information about the child -- not only because of the sheer star power each of his parents enjoys, but because Kim's pregnancy was wrought with complications, many of which were documented on the E! Entertainment cornerstone Keeping Up With the Kardashians. But so far, there's little to report: Sources close to the family have told E! and Us Weekly that the couple has yet to decide on a name. (The unnamed insider told the latter publication that the Wests are whittling down a list they made before the delivery.)

At least, that's the news regarding the baby's first name. The same anonymous source told Us that Kim and Kanye are considering making the baby's middle name Robert, in honor of Kim's late father. Robert Kardashian was a lawyer and entrepreneur, who reactivated his law license to aid in the defense of his longtime friend O.J. Simpson. Simpson was famously acquitted in the murders of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ron Goldman; Kardashian served as a volunteer assistant to Simpson's renowned defense attorney, Johnnie Cochran. Robert died in 2003, survived by Kim and her siblings Kourtney, Khloe and Robert Jr. Kim and Kanye's two-year-old daughter, North--usually known as Nori--does not have a middle name.
