Iggy Azalea held a Twitter Q&A over the weekend, and fans naturally asked the Aussie rapper about her upcoming sophomore album, Digital Distortion. While some may have thought that Iggy was teasing the album's lead single when she previewed "7Teen" earlier this month, she confirmed in the Twitter session that the lead single will in fact be called "Team." "Lead is TEAM," she wrote, "meaning: ive got my own back, i am my own team. 20% meaningful 70% bop 10% ratchet." Iggy went on to post a video teasing the song, dancing and singing the refrain, "Are you fucking with the team?" Iggy said that the single won't be released  in January, but fans can expect other content by way of buzz songs and viral videos from the rapper in the meantime.

Other Digital Distortion news included that the album will be mostly produced by the collective D.R.U.G.S. Iggy also shared that she had collaborated with Diplo on a few tracks, but was unsure where they were going to end up as none had made the cut for Digital Distortion. Check out some highlights from Iggy's forum below.

New music in 2016 would mark a small comeback for Iggy, who has been more or less quiet since her 2014 debut The New Classic. The success of her smash single "Fancy" allowed Iggy to reissue the album later that year. As for 2015 news, Iggy has been involved in a back and forth with Erykah Badu recently following comments Badu made at the 2015 Soul Train Awards. Things have since ben squashed, with Badu apologizing and Iggy writing a brief open letter in acceptance.
