Chance The Rapper is featured in a new set of promos for the upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live. The Chicago native appears alongside host Chris Hemsworth and cast member Bobby Moynihan in these comedic promo videos for the Dec. 12 episode of Saturday Night Live. The trio joke about making a "hot guy sandwich," being best friends and Chris Hemsworth's secretly dope rhymes.

This appearance will be a major milestone for Chance The Rapper as he will be the first independent rapper to appear on Saturday Night Live. While Chance had been relatively quiet since the release of his breakthrough project Acid Rap, he was the major creative force behind Donnie Trumpet and The Social Experiment's Surf album which dropped earlier this year. The project was the debut LP from a Chance The Rapper led collective of musicians that included Donnie Trumpet, Peter Cottontale, Greg Landfair Jr. and Nate Fox.

More recently, Chance The Rapper has been a vocal critic of the new Spike Lee film Chi-Raq. Chance took to Twitter last week to call the movie offensive and let it be known that he, as well as many other Chicagoans, did not support it.
