Are Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill Engaged?

Nicki Minaj needs some really nice things, among them, some really big rings, and according to two Instagram posts last last night she got just that. "Now this is what I'm talking about baby," she captioned a photo of an eye-popping diamond, tagging her boyfriend (and potential fiancee) Meek Mill. "RANG finga whr da rock iiizzzzzzzz" Nicki closed it out saying, quoting her opening verse on "Only."

It's been a rough year for Meek Mill, whose losing effort against Drake was punctuated earlier this week with a Grammy nomination for Drake's diss record "Back to Back." Ending the calendar year on a celebratory note would make sense for Meek's, whose own sophomore release, Dreams Worth More Than Money, was overshadowed by the back and forth of his feud with Nicki's labelmate.

Rumors had circulated in May of this year that Nicki and Meek had advanced beyond the boyfriend-girlfriend stage, with Meek telling Fader that their relationship "definitely real,” elaborating later that "it ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.” Those rumors were similarly started when Nicki was spotted on IG with a big diamond ring, though those photos were no where near as posed or suggestive as the ones recently posted. Have things changed for the two in recent months? It was reported in October that they were house hunting together, so maybe settling down is the plan for 2016. While the ring above doesn't look like a traditional engagement ring, it is on Nicki's left hand, so perhaps nuptials are in deed in the works. We will update the story if either of the two confirm or deny the speculation.
