Riff Raff has been quiet on the musical front this year, coasting and touring off the success of 2014's NEON iCON, which got the chopped-not-slopped treatment from OG Ron C himself. It seems that the rappers with the Technicolor wardrobe and mysterious background has been cooking up a new creative project, but it's not exactly what fans have been expecting. Yesterday (Nov. 2) he took to Instagram to announce NEON ViBES, a new book of poetry that appears to be dropping in the near future. Though no release date was announced, eager readers will be able to preorder it on Nov. 13. See the holographic cover below:

In the same post, Mr. Raff tried to sate his fans' thirst for information about new music, referencing two upcoming projects. a "mini album" called TRENCH COAT TOWERS is purportedly dropping "next week," and his long-awaited follow-up LP, PEACH PANTHER, is "DROPPiNG SOON AND iS BEiNG PURRRRRRTRFECTED." For more on the man, myth and legend that is Riff Raff, check out the in-his-own-words account he gave to Jeff Weiss for XXL last year, which includes gems like the following:

"iF ANYBODY HAS ANYTHiNG BAD TO SAY ABOUT ME, i SAY, “BOOM,” THE ANSWER IS NEON iCON. GO LiSTEN TO THE ALBUM, iN STORES NOW. iT’S SO VERSATiLE, AND i MADE SURE THAT EVERY SONG WASN’T ALL RAP SO YOU CAN’T PUT ME iN A CATEGORY AND SAY i’M JUST SOME RAPPER. i’M A MUSICIAN. i’M AN ARTIST. YOU CAN’T EVEN PUT ME IN THE RAP CATEGORY BECAUSE i MADE A COUNTRY SONG, A RAP-ROCK SONG, ONE WITH ELECTRO ViBES. YOU CAN SAY WHATEVER YOU WANT ABOUT ME, BUT JUDGE ME ON THE MUSiC."
