For someone whose debut album is sitting on a shelf somewhere, Young Thug has had an awfully busy 2015. Hy!£UN35 (a stylization of HiTunes) was supposed to drop this fall, but was pushed back indefinitely when its lead single, "Pacifier," failed to catch on at radio. Still, he's dropped three full-length projects: In April, he pulled back the curtain on Barter 6, the title of which was either a slight or homage to Lil Wayne, depending on who you ask. Where that LP was restrained, September's Slime Season found Thug at his most unhinged, rapping furiously over a slew of maximalist beats. Over the weekend, Slime Season 2, which moved back to the middle in utilizing more negative space, dropped to rave reactions from fans.

But before Hy!£UN35 saw its street date come and go, the original Slime Season was teased as a full-length collaboration with London On Da Track. A long-time collaborator of Thug's, London crafted Rich Gang's runaway 2014 hit, "Lifestyle," as well as a handful of the Atlanta rapper's biggest songs. Though each Slime Season saw multiple producers, London hinted on Twitter that he might be behind the boards for the entirety of the official debut.

When a fan asked if London would be handling all of Slime Season 2, he responded simply with "Hi-Tunes," suggesting that he might be the sole beatsmith on Thug's 300 LP. It was rumored earlier this fall that a solo version of Thug's Jamie xx and Popcaan collaboration, "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)," might be that album's single; if London's suggestion is true, that plan may have been abandoned.
