It was reported yesterday (Nov. 4) that Miami police had raided Lil Wayne's home, seizing some $2 million in art that was hanging on his wall. (That might seem like a lot, but the New Orleans native apparently has more than $30 million worth of art in that home alone.) The officers--who brought along a professional appraiser to make sure their quota was met--were carrying out orders to seize assets after Wayne failed to pay Signature Group, a private plane company that had previously won a lawsuit against the rapper over unpaid fees. This afternoon, Wayne took to his Twitter account to express his frustration at the situation, and to explain how it's the type of invasion that makes him question everything:

The year's been an uphill battle for Wayne, in more ways than one. Due to a dispute that stretches back to 2014 (and probably much earlier), his long-awaited Tha Carter V has been held up by a sea of red tape. His longtime mentor, collaborator and label boss, Bryan "Baby" Williams, has excommunicated him from the Cash Money Records inner circle and has taken legal action against the Jay Z-owned streaming service, Tidal, for issuing Wayne's Free Weezy Album. In addition to that and to January's Sorry 4 The Wait 2, Wayne has promised a Thanksgiving sequel to his acclaimed 2009 mixtape, No Ceilings.
